Then in 2nd session, there was a discussion on different applications based on Blockchain technology and also on the recent progress made by other countries in the field of Blockchain. In 3rd session, participants worked on Simple Blockchain, Validity of Blockchain, Mining Rewards using JavaScript and NodeJS. EVP - Electoral Verification Program is a flagship crowd sourced & completely paperless (e-way)  program launched by ECI - Election Commission of India, Delhi running from 1st September, 2019 to 30th November, 2019 giving a golden opportunity for all 91+ crore electors of India, to verify their electoral details like Name, Age, Gender, Address etc and even upload their latest photograph. Its actually a 3 staged process as mentioned below: 1) Electors would use any of the below means to verify their electoral details: a) Voter Helpline Android or iOS app b) NVSP portal c) Visit nearest Voter Facilitation Center setup at District Electoral Office or Electoral Registration Offices d) Visit nearest Common Service Centers (CSCs) by Digital India Here electors would perform any of the 2 below mentioned (this is the crowd sourcing) tasks: A ) If they find that all their electoral details are correct; they just need to hit a button as "Information displayed above ...

This FDP (Faculty Development Program) is being held from 18th to 22nd November, 2019 sponsored by ATAL Academy, AICTE. Many thanks to the management at GSSS INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY FOR WOMEN for inviting Prof. Ravindra G Dastikop and me to conduct a 2 days hands-on workshop on Blockchain Technology development using JavaScript for V sem and VII sem students of ISE on 25th and 26th October, 2019 at Mysore. Later participants installed NodeJS  and used JavaScript to implement Simple Blockchain, Check the Validity of Blockchain, Mining the blocks and Rewards for Mining.
