Faculty were introduced to IoT simulation using https://www.tinkercad.com, where we could try out Arduino and different sensors using just a browser and internet connection. Then participants were introduced to Cretile Kits - An Excellent tool for STEM education, no wiring, no soldering ! just join IoT Components like lego toys !. Participants then used IBM Bluemix cloud environment to Turn their smartphone into an IoT device.
