Job Description:
Position: − Senior Engineer
Industrial Experience: − Mechanical Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience with excellent technical skills and capabilities in product design and development in mechanical and electro-mechanical products
Mandatory Skills: −
- Possesses understanding and good technical knowledge in the areas of Mechanical engineering
- Manufacturing process and machinery capabilities
- Good experience in conceptual design
- Ability to create and interpret Engineering Drawings.
- Good understanding and interpretation of GD&T.
- Knowledge on Raw materials and their sources
- Familiarity with full design life cycle process.
- Hands on experience in Pro/E (preferred) and / or CATIA – around 2 years
- Awareness of industrial trends and ability to identify opportunities for exploring them to our benefit
- Ability to deliver informative and well organized presentations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Value Engineering projects
- Good team player, attitude and continuous learning
- Excellent problem solving skills, technical passion and drive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with Quality tools, Six sigma process
- Good exposure in DFA, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Testing (DFT).
- Ability to function independently
- Knowledge in Optics
- Knowledge and/or hands on experience in analysis tools (ANSYS, Pro-Mechanica etc.)
Education: − B.E / M.Tech in Mechanical/ Industrial production
