Course Content:

1. Introduction to Basic Electronics
2. Introduction to Atmel‟s ATmega 8/16/32 microcontroller
3. Development o a Basic Robot – a Pathfinder
4. Satellite Communication using GPS module
5. Development of a Satellite operated Robot with GSM wireless connectivity.

** After the end of this workshop, students will be able to develop a Satellite controlled
robot by themselves.
Certification policy:
** Certificate of Participation from Robosapiens-India to each participant
** Short listed participants from pre rounds will be called to play at a mega event and they
will be given “Certificate of Merit”.

Eligibility Criteria: All engineering, Science, MBA, PhD students and hobbyist of
Robotics can attend the workshop, as Robotics has become the backbone of all the industry
needs.

Registration Fee:

 

a) Registration fee for all students is Rs 1500/-
b) Participants requesting for accommodation has to pay an additional fee of Rs 500/-
(includes dinner & breakfast)
** The registration fee includes the course materials, working lunch and refreshment
expenses. The fee once paid is not refundable. No TA/DA will be reimbursed.
** The concerned College may please limit the entrants to a maximum of 2 groups. A group
can have maximum of 5 members .

The registration fee shall be paid through crossed demand draft /cheque, drawn in favour of
„Coordinator, Sat-Botricks Workshop, MBCET, Thiruvananthapuram’, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
How to Apply?
Application in the attached format duly recommended by the authority concerned, along
with the DD/cheque for the registration amount, should reach the coordinator on or before 10th
July 2011. The selected candidates will be informed through email / phone on 12th
July
2011. Registration form without DD will not be accepted.
