Desired profile

Perform manual and automated functional tests of server applications and plug-ins.

* Should be having knowledge on programming and scripting languages.

* Should be familiar with any Unix flavors    

* Work closely with developers to design test criteria and strategy, develop test plans and automation.

* Develop automated tests to replicate real-world scenarios that plug into a regression test harness.

* Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents.

* Measure server performance and ensure scalability from release-to-release.

* Work in parallel on more than one QA project at a time. 

Note : Candidate having 70% & above in CS/IT/ECE are ONLY Eligible.

About: As a Streaming Dev QA Engineer located out of our Bangalore office, you will be working with development team for validation and verification of our Media Content Delivery Service offerings which provide enterprises a robust and scalable e-business infrastructure to cost-effectively serve their global customer base. The job of Dev QA Engineer includes developing software release test plans, creating and enhancing automated tests written in Perl, executing automated and manual tests to ensure release quality, analyzing problems and getting to the root cause, and working closely with developers on a release-by-release basis in testing new features and functionalities of Streaming technologies.
About the Team
The Streaming Dev QA team is responsible for the automation, verification and qualification of Akamai’s Streaming services.
