Akashya Patra, AIKYA Youth club, ISKCON, Hubli organizes #Hackathon for the first time this year, and invites all the students to prove their creativity in a 10 hours event along with 4 hours of training, being held on 19th and 20th October 2019.
Participants get to win attractive prizes, certificates and offers to do internship on a completely versatile and socially advantageous projects.

It was a great experience to be with 30+ engineering students, who had come from 3 different engineering students in and around Hubli-Dharwad, mainly SDM, BVB, VDRIT and PC Jabin. The participants were trained on BOT building using open-source, on-premise Chatbot building platform botpress and participants made a simple BOT which echoes the user message. Later, participants were trained on building a web-based chatbot which reads/writes data from Google Spreadsheet using Google Drive APIs and JavaScript.
Then participants were demonstrated with some other chatbots which i have developed and later the participants went on to build a simple Appointment scheduling chatbot.
The participants were also given with some other problem statements and would be working on it next 2 weeks and based on the their submission, the winner would be announced.
