Happy to share the works done by 6th sem CSE, SDMCET students as part of Web Technologies [BLOG] elective during Jan-May 2017.
All the project ideas are inspired by Smart India Hackathon - 2017 and are related to Geo Tagging of public places like Govt offices, Bus Stands, Police Stations, Gyms, Software Industries, PU Colleges, Wild-life sanctuaries, Temples / Churches etc, Hotel/Meal Delivery, Marriage halls etc etc.. using Google Maps APIs.
Entire project was divided into 3 parts and were evaluated during lab exams:
Lab-IA 1 [To be done individually / One week time was allotted / Can refer internet]:
Programming/Scripting language used: HTML5 with JavaScript
Development IDE (PaaS): Codenvy.io
Deployment Platform (PaaS): Google App Engine
Lab-IA 2 [Extension of Lab-IA-1 / One week time was allotted]:
New Feature: Any concerned Indian citizen can contribute to build the database using Web
Programming/Scripting language used: HTML5 with JavaScript and PHP with MySQL
Development IDE (PaaS): IBM BlueMix with PHP and MySQL
Deployment Platform (PaaS): IBM BlueMix

Lab-IA 3 [Extension of Lab-IA-2 / One week time was allotted]:
New Feature: Any concerned Indian citizen can contribute to build the database using Android app
Programming/Scripting language used: HTML5 with JavaScript and PHP with MySQL along with MIT App Inventor
Development IDE (PaaS): MIT App Inventor to build Android Apps
Deployment Platform (PaaS): IBM BlueMix with PHP and MySQL
