50+ IoT Project Videos in YouTube Channel


Happy to share that 50+ IoT (Internet of Things) projects are developed by 7th sem students of 2013-2017 Batch CSE Department, S.D.M College of Engg & Technology, Dharwad as a part of IoT course from Aug to Dec, 2016. Please find course details here in course blog: iot-cs427.blogspot.in

Under the guidance of our mentor, Prof. Nitin Kulkarni,  IoT Project Evaluation by Industry Expert - Mr. Ravi Subramanian, Director - Embedded Systems and Internet of Things, Green Robot Machinery Private Limited, Bengaluru was completed on 13th, Tuesday, December, 2016 from 8 AM to 7 PM.

IoT projects covered various domains like Home Automation, Agriculture, Smart City, Health, Transportation, Home Security, Waste Segregation, Physically Challenged people etc among others. Efforts are going on to convert these IoT projects as IoT Products.

These projects were developed using Arduino, Basic Sensors, Relay Switches, Raspberry Pi with camera from hardware side and IBM BlueMix with PHP & MySQL for data storage using CloudantSQL, MIT App Inventor, Amazon &  IBM BlueMix with Watson APIs for Data Analytics along with dashDB from software side.

Happy to know that students: N.S. Sahana, Krupa S. Bhat, M. Aishwarya, Lalitha Kanumilli and J. Mumtaz Bhanu have published a paper on their IoT project - Dynamic Traffic Light Control for Intelligent Mobility of Emergency Vehicles.

Happy to know that IoT project SmartVAC done by Vivek and Praveen has met basic requirements of  Dr. Shirol, plastic surgeon, Sampige Clinic, Hubli

Invoking the blessings of Lord Shri Manjunatha Swamy of Shri Kshetra Dharmastala and our revered President Dr. D V Heggade, under the guidance of our Secretary Sri Jinendra Prasad, Deputy Secretary Sri Jeevandhar Kumar,  Principal Dr S B Vanakudre, IoT with Cloud - A Technical Club was inaugurated on 23rd December, 2016.

  

We thank all the teaching, non-teaching faculty, students, alumni and industry stakeholders who made this possible.
