Two Weeks STTP on Emerging Trends in Cloud Computing with IoT and BIG DATA
being held from 4th July to 15th July 2016 at Atharva College of Engg, Mumbai..
It was one of the best and most successful workshop experience which we ever had till date.. The success goes to the good-bandwidth and good infrastructure provided by the organizers..
As a part of Cloud Computing's SaaS Model, participants worked on Google Docs, Slides, SpreadSheet Formulae, Google URL Shortner, Google Translate Service, Google Groups. Bloggers, Lucid Charts, Mind-Mapping, Digi Locker and many other tools.
As a part of Cloud Computing's PaaS Model. participants worked on Cloud IDE - codenvy.com, to develop, debug and deploy applications on Google App Engine using JavaScript and Servlets..Pushing the code from codenvy to github and later pulling github repository to PhoneGap to convert cloud app to mobile app. Later hands-on session on IBM BlueMix was done using PHP as a language.
As a part of Cloud Computing's IaaS Model, participants were demonstrated with Google Compute Engine, Running VM on GCE, AWS, Launching a VM on AWS etc.
As a part of IoT, participants tried hands-on with Arduino Mirco-Controller and basic sensors like LM35, LDR etc and basic modules like Bluetooth to control real-life appliances..Later a demonstration of RaspberryPi and Web Controlled LEDs for Arduino and RaspberryPi 3 was discussed..
During our stay, we visited Sri Sri Radha Rasabihariji Temple, at Juhu, Mumbai.
