The innovative
platform - Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad or BCS as it known as is a non-political
platform to sensitize and harness the power of youth mainly the General
Secretaries, Joint Secretaries and socially active & politically sensitive
students from 25000 colleges of more than 400 universities in the Country. BCS is
trying to create an environment so that committed, educated and spirited youth
participate in democratic polity and contribute in evolving a healthy
democratic system. In this regard, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad is conducting a
national conclave i.e. 4th BCS, being hosted at MIT Campus, Kothrud, Pune from
Jan 10-12, 2014.
To encourage participation at this esteemed event from our college - S.D.M College of Engg & Tech, Dharwad, Karnataka, the college successfully organized a video recording session for the 5 min - speech on the topics given by BCS, where in 10 students actively participated. All the video speeches are sent to the BCS, Pune office for the final selection process.
