ENERGY SECURITY AND INDIA

Attended, a lecture on "ENERGY SECURITY AND INDIA", by DR.SHIVANAND KANAVI , Engineer and Economist, on FRIDAY, JANUARY, 18,2012 at 6.30 pm Venue: Alur Venkatarao Sanskritika Samuchhaya, College Road, Dharwad organized by Centre for Developmental Studies Dharwad and Institution of Engineers (India) local centre Dharwad. Effective Presentation Skills - Workshop

Attended one day workshop on "Effective Presentation Skills", organized by Dept. of MBA , S.D.M College of Engg & Tech, Dharwad, Karnataka on 19th Jan, 2013 from 9:30AM - 1:30PM at DVH Hall, SDMCET. Around 200 students from various degree colleges of Hubli-Dharwad participated and benefited. Many thanks to Prof. Dr. Mohan Kumar , Principal, SDMCET, Prof. Dr. Prashantha C, H.O.D - MBA, SDMCET, Dean Student Welfare , SDMCET - Prof. Dr. K Gopinath, Dean Academics , SDMCET - Prof. Dr. Vijaya C for the organizing such an excellent and useful workshop. Resource person was Dr. Gururaj Patil. 

Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad

Attended Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (BCS) @ MIT Pune, India, from 10th to 12th Jan, 2013. http://www.indianstudentparliament.com/ Around 8000 students from various places of India participated in this 3rd BCS. A great initiative by   Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad , Founder & Executive President, MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions, President, BCS and Shri. Rahul V. Karad - Executive Director, MAEER’s MIT Group of Inst. Founder Convenor, BCS. Thank you very much for all the organizers for this GREAT historic event.

Spoken Tutorial - Post Test - C/C++

As a part of our curriculum for 1st semester, (B.E) student's Problem Solving and Programming in C , we the Course Instructors had recommended Spoken Tutorials on C/C++ as   a SELF LEARNING activity. An introduction to  Spoken Tutorials on C/C++   was given by our faculty colleagues on 09th Nov, 2012  and in every subsequent  'C' labs, students were asked to devote some time to go through these videos and were also asked to submit assignments as told in videos. Now, as we had come to the closure 1st semester, we wanted to assess our students in this  SELF LEARNING  activity.     Skype Image - Spoken Tutorial team at IIT Bombay Dear 3rd Semester Student Friends of 2011-2015 Batch, First of all, let us all express our sincere thanks to MHRD, Govt of India and Self-Learning Team of IIT-Bombay for this excellent concept of   SELF-LEARNIG FOSS   (Free and Open Source Software) through spoken tutorials. (first 3 pics from top) Next, we should all thank our Management, Principal - Dr. S Mohan Kumar and Head - CSE - Prof. J V Vadavi for accepting and supporting this initiative.
